This place was a great random last minute find while staying at Marriott Copley. Right around the block and the pizza was amazing. They have a ton of food options, especially custom charcuterie boards and their pizza options. Staff super friendly and as a visitor to Boston, I felt welcomed and absolutely 5 stars from me.

“Keep on with the forth, don't stop/don't stop until you get enough~” What mischief could a restaurant with Michael Jackson's music possibly have?
Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! 🥹 The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor.
Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)

Service was good, and the food was okay. I ordered the bucatini all’amatriciana, but the pasta served appeared to just be thicker spaghetti rather than bucatini, as it lacked the characteristic hollow center. More

Had an awesome meal here! We ordered the Polpette Sandwich, Salsiccia Pizza, and the Bianco, and honestly, they were all amazing. The Bianco pizza stole the show—it was perfectly cooked, cheesy, and bursting with flavor. The staff is super … More

Came in on Monday evening to try their pizza and cocktails. Their open pizza oven added to the amazing general ambiance. Delicious cocktails, with mature flavors. We got the bianco and funghi pizzas. Pizza toppings were all delicious, wish they had a little more flavor. Great for both a casual meal and post work get togethers!

Excellent Italian Restaurant in Boston’s Southend. The meatballs were as good as you can get. Served on toasted bread, plenty of sauce and mozzarella. The Margarita Pizza has a crunchy crust, perfectly cooked, delicious sauce, basil and cheeses. Nice Vibe with an open kitchen. Tyler our server was fantastic!!! parking can be a little challenging but it’s worth the search for a parking spot

This is our favorite charcuterie to get, you order a la carte. Very nice staff, we had pizza last time we went and it was good also but the charcuterie is the standout for me.

I stopped in last weekend for a date at The Salty Pig for the first time! I really liked the vibe of the place, and the modern looking design first thing upon walking in!
Our waiter was both very professional and timely about his service, and I really enjoyed the wine selection they had. The menu was concise, in terms of the different dishes that were offered. Both of us really enjoyed out dinner and it was a nice bonus to be able to have a couple glasses of Riesling German style wine as well.
Overall, I was impressed with the staff, service, atmosphere, and dinners in which we received. The pricing for the dishes was reasonable, considering this restaurant is directly in the heart of back in downtown Boston. I really liked the pizza I got, it was delicious. Be prepared to spend about $100 to $150 for a two person dinner (if you drink wine) during the weekend.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a pork centered Italian restaurant that is both fun, and priced well. Thanks Salty Pig, I will be back!

The hostess was super upbeat and clearly loves working at The Salty Pig. She is the perfect employee to set the tone for your dining experience! Our table of five received outstanding attention/service and the food was delicious. Fresh. Made to order. My husband had a pizza, he actually ate the whole thing. Our grandsons had a brisket sandwich and I had the homemade hotdog and put it over a bed of lettuce. DIVINE! Our tour guide enjoyed a turkey wrap. Next time I’ll look forward to trying their charcuterie options. All meats are made and cured in house. It smells fabulous. I highly recommend The Salty Pig.

Split a board, pizza, and two pastas between three and only had a little leftover. Not pictured was the baked conchiglie. Hadn’t heard much about The Salty Pig but everything was really good. For the board we stuck to local meat and cheese(I love prosciutto di parma but it’s less interesting to me than the in house stuff) and it was all really good. The rillette, a pork paste?, was a standout. The pizza was excellent, although maybe could have a had a wee bit less arugula. The pastas were what surprised me most. Both were really flavourful and well cooked.

During our time in Boston, we visited this place twice, and both times were fantastic. The Italian food is authentic and unforgettable.
On our first visit for dinner, it was a bit tricky to find a table, they had space but only offered seats at the bar, which isn’t ideal if you’re not into drinks.
On our second visit for lunch, we were luckier and got a proper table, and the service was much better.
Overall, the food makes it absolutely worth coming back.

We had such a wonderful experience at The Salty Pig. We were there with our friends. The atmosphere is fantastic — warm, lively, and truly welcoming. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, making us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. It’s definitely a family‑friendly place, which we really appreciated.
We ordered the Margherita pizza with prosciutto for the kids, and they absolutely loved it. For the adults, we tried two pastas — the Bucatini and the Rigatoni — and both were outstanding. The pasta was cooked perfectly, not overdone and not raw, just that ideal texture that’s hard to find. And the sauces… I honestly don’t have words. So flavorful, rich, and delicious — truly unforgettable.
For dessert, we tried the chocolate hazelnut ice cream and the chocolate torta. Both were amazing — sweet, indulgent, and the perfect finish to an already fantastic meal.
We loved everything about this place, and we will definitely visit again the next time we’re in Boston.

It was a decent experience. The only reason for that is because I'm not a big fan of pork. There are no other options available apart from that. The pork itself was good but still didn't exceed my expectation. The ambience is really good and service too! More

Had to order the Salty Pig pizza — good, but not mind-blowing.
The biggest disappointment was the bone marrow, which felt seriously overpriced. When did bone marrow become a delicatessen?
Highlight of the meal was the squid ink pasta. More
